R.A.D. Programs - Empower Yourself Through Self-Defense

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office is a proud member of the R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) international community. We offer self-defense education through the following programs. Upcoming Classes

RAD Women’s Refresher
Wednesday July 11, 2018
6pm to 9pm

Open to anyone who already attended the Basic RAD Women’s Class.  This class will refresh for the first hour and then run new simulation scenarios for the second and third hours.  Great way to REFRESH and practice skills.

Please contact Sgt. Suzanne Woodward at WoodwardS@stluciesheriff.com  if interested.  Class will be held to 12 students, first come first serve.

R.A.D. classes are spread over two weeks and include a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the first week and a Monday and Tuesday of the second week.  Classes are from 6-9 p.m. and are held at the Sheriff's Office Headquarters Building, 4700 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
The course fee is $40 per person.  Additional family members can attend for $20.
To register, download the registration form below and submit it with payment to Debra McKenna or Carrie Fage.  You may bring your form and payment in person during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or can mail them to the address listed above.
