Manages and maintains records of all Sheriff's Office financial and payroll transactions
Responsible for budget preparation and oversees
Grants Administration:
Monitors grants awarded to the agency
Researches funding opportunities
Writes proposals
Human Resources:
Administers benefits programs
Maintains personnel records
Manages the new hire and internal selection processes
Processes member separations
Responsible for position control, job descriptions and job task analysis
Information Technology: Provides computer support to agency such as:
End-user support
Hardware support
Network administration
Programming
Special project management and implementation
Training
Purchasing: Procures the items necessary for daily operation of the agency and conducts inventory control
Records: Enters data from all offense/incident reports, traffic citations, and arrest reports. Indexes reports to meet State of Florida requirements for the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) System administered by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement
