Membership Requirements
Requirements
- 2 letters of recommendation (School Resource Deputy, School Guidance Counselor, Clergy or Teacher)
- Be of good health
- Be of good moral habits with no arrest or conviction
- Have parental approval
- Maintain at least a "C" grade point average
- Submit completed application with $100 non-refundable processing fee
- Young adults in the 6th, 7th or 8th grade.
Selection Process
Each applicant must pass a selection process which will include an interview and a background investigation.
To Maintain Membership
- Members must abide by all rules and regulations governing Sheriff's Explorer Post 400
- Members must attend 60% of all Junior Cadet Functions
- Members must attend 80% of all Junior Cadet Meetings
- Members must have dues current
- Members must maintain at least a ‘C" grade point average
Requirements

- Young adults between the ages of 14 and 20
