Body of homeless man found behind north St. Lucie County gas station, according to Sheriff Mascara
The body of a homeless north St. Lucie County man was discovered by a passerby near U.S.1 tonight, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
"The man apparently lived in some woods behind the gas station at 6315 North U.S.1, where the body was found just before 7 p.m.," Sheriff Mascara said. "It appears that the body had been there for around two days and that the man died of some kind of trauma."
The victim was clothed when the body was found. He is a white male in his 50s.
