Florida Police and Fire Games will take place on Treasure Coast June 16 (Saturday) - 23, bringing thousands of competitors, coaches, friends and family members to the Treasure Coast
As many as 5,000 athletes, coaches and family members of Florida's law enforcement correctional and firefighting agencies will converge on the Treasure Coast this weekend for the Florida Police and Fire Games.
The Treasure Coast counties of Indian River, St. Lucie, Okeechobee and Martin will host the Games this year, which is the fourth year in a row that the Games will take place on the Treasure Coast.
Members of the public can participate in all of the dozens of competitive events of the Florida Police and Fire Games that will take place on theTreasure Coast June 16-23.
The Games will will have a multimillion dollar impact on the area at a normally slow time for the hospitality industry.
Details of the events, which range from archery to volleyball, can be found at the Games website lawgames.org.
Law Enforcement Coordinator of the Games is Garry R. Wilson, Chief Deputy, St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office.

Headquarters of the Games will be the Treasure Coast Public Safety Training Complex of Indian River State College on Kirby Loop Road, Fort Pierce.
