St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara announces three arrests in two unrelated Port St. Lucie drug cases
St. Lucie County Sheriff's narcotics investigators Thursday arrested three people at Port St. Lucie homes in two unrelated drug cases, according to Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
"Two of the three people we arrested have been dealing drugs on the streets of St. Lucie County," Sheriff Mascara said. "I am committed to vigorously investigating drug dealers and making arrests whenever possible, wherever the drug dealers are located in our community."
Arrested at 2255 S.E. Glover Street, Port St. Lucie (near Airoso Boulevard and Port St. Lucie Boulevard), were Wanda Walnetta Wiggins (DOB 2/11/80) and Calvin Powell (DOB 2/27/87.) Detectives charged Wiggins with trafficking in MDMA (also known as "Ecstasy") over 10 grams, possession of MDMA with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.
(Note: 2255 S.E. Glover Street is the correct street address.)
Powell is charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation into drug dealing leading to that arrest lasted several weeks. Deputies seized a plastic bag containing 36 MDMA pills and another 88 MDMA pills elsewhere in the home, and $710 cash. Also seized was a small quantity of cocaine and marijuana.
Arrested at 551 S.E. Volkerts Terrace, Port St. Lucie (near West Virginia Drive and the Crosstown Parkway) was Dominique Lodai (DOB 9/18/76), of 457 Walters Terrace, Port St. Lucie. He was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
