St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara identifies, homicide victim, asks for public's help to solve the case
St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara has released the name of the victim of an early morning homicide in northern St. Lucie County.
"The victim's name is Daniel Charles White, age 22 (DOB 4/8/89)," Sheriff Mascara said. "He was pronounced dead on arrival at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute after St. Lucie County St. Lucie County Fire Rescue transported him to the hospital from from 8007 Kenwood Road, in Lakewood Park, a residential subdivision in northern St. Lucie County. He is the victim of a gunshot wound."
"We are asking anyone who has information to call St. Lucie County Sheriff's detectives at 772-462-3230," said Sheriff Mascara. "Also, people can give information without identifying themselves by calling Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-8477 (1-800-273-TIPS.) If a tip to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, the tipster can be eligible for a cash reward.
