radKIDS will help children deal with bullying, water safety, fire safety, stranger safety, bike safety and more, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara
This summer children ages 5-12 can take a unique personal empowerment program in St. Lucie County, according to Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
"The radKIDS program will help children deal with bullying, water safety, fire safety, stranger safety, bike safety and more," Sheriff Mascara said.
Specially trained School Resource Deputies teach the course, and space is limited for the classes which will be taught at St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office headquarters, at 4700 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce.
July 11-15, the class is open to children ages 5, 6 and 7. From July 25-29, the class is open to children ages 8 - 12. The cost is $20 for the first child and $10 for each additional sibling.
Space is limited, so Sheriff Mascara urges parents to sign up their children now.
Applications are available in the front lobby of the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office building on Midway Road or on the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office web site, www.stluciesheriff.com. Click on the Community tab and then select R.A.D. Programs.
