St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara asks that any victims of David Gross Anderson, Jr. contact Sheriff's detectives
St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara is asking that any victims of David Gross Anderson, Jr., contact Sheriff's detectives.

"Deputies arrested Mr. Anderson Saturday for theft, fraud, and violation of count ordinances," Sheriff Mascara said. "He was going to peoples' homes in Spanish Lakes, a retirement community, and offering to see steaks and lobsters, collecting money and disappearing."

Sheriff Mascara said detectives believe there may be additional victims. "If you have been victimized by Mr. Anderson, please call our detectives at 772-462-3230."

The Sheriff said that a Mr. Anderson's illegal activities were discussed at a Spanish Lakes Citizens on Patrol meeting. "It's a good thing that happened, because when Mr. Anderson tried to swindle additional victims over the weekend, Spanish Lakes resident reported his activities to deputies who arrested him. This is a good example of how community policing benefits the residents of St. Lucie County."
