The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office has concluded its investigation into allegations by Richard L. Reed II resulting from events at Fort Pierce City Hall April 18, with a finding that there will be no criminal charges, according to Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
"The State Attorney's Office reviewed the investigative file and concurred with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office in the decision," Sheriff Mascara said. "Among the items detectives reviewed were a video recording of the Fort Pierce City Hall video system and a video recording made by a member of the public."
Sheriff Mascara said, "The report is complete and self-explanatory. This agency will have no additional comment on the case."
