March child molestation/pornography arrest leads to obscentiy/child molestation charges against Port St. Lucie man, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara
The March arrest of Port St. Lucie resident Earl Douglas McGee for molesting a six-year-old girl and possession pornography has led St. Lucie County Sheriff's detectives to arrest another Port St. Lucie man for molesting the same girl and possession pornography, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.

"The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office places the highest priority on investigations into the victimization of innocent children," Sheriff Mascara said. "We will thoroughly investigate these cases with all available resources, and we will pursue such investigations wherever they lead."

Sheriff Mascara said: "On March 10, detectives arrested Earl Douglas McGee, 34, of 2558 S.W. Cooper Lane. From that arrest, we learned that Arthur Ayvaz, 60, of 425 S.E. Fallon Drive, Port St. Lucie, had molested the same victim. We also learned that he possessed pornography."

Detectives obtained a search warrant for Ayvaz's home, and they served it Thursday night.

Ayvaz subsequently admitted molesting the six-year-old girl, Sheriff Mascara said.

None of the obscene material seized at the homes of McGee or Ayvaz depicted the six-year-old victim. Each man knew the other was molesting the girl, the investigation showed.

When detectives interviewed the victim, she referred to Ayvaz as "father." He is not the victim's father.
