St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara announces arrest of jailed Fort Pierce resident Antonio Sherman Hill for double homicide at northern St. Lucie County night club Dec. 26
St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara today announced the arrest of Fort Pierce resident Antonio Sherman Hill for shooting two men to death last Dec. 26 in the parking lot of a northern St. Lucie County night club.

Hill, 19 (DOB 4/20/1991), known on the street as "Lizard Man," faces two counts of second-degree murder. He is being held without bond at the St. Lucie County jail where he had been confined three weeks earlier for a parole violation in an unrelated charge.

"The shooting took place in the parking lot of BJ's Restaurant and Lounge, 2275 North 25th Street, between 1:15 and 2 a.m., early Dec. 26, following a series of fights inside the night club," Sheriff Mascara said. Both victims live in northern St. Lucie County.

"Calvin Colbert was pronounced dead on arrival at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute, and Christopher Walker was taken by friends to the hospital where he died seven days later."

A member of the public, whom the Sheriff declined to identify by name, stepped forward and reported having witnessed the shooting. The witness also named Hill as the man who fired the gunshot that killed Colbert and Walker.

Detectives said Hill fired a single shot that went through Colbert's body, then went through Walker's body, killing them both. Investigators recovered the .40-caliber bullet and casing that killed the two men. * * *
