St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara asks public's help to find suspect in fatal early morning shooting at night club north of Fort Pierce
A shooting early this morning at a north-St. Lucie County night club left one man dead and another injured.
St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara is asking the public for information.
"The shooting took place in the parking lot of BJ's Restaurant and Lounge, 2275 North 25th Street, between 1:15 and 2 a.m. following an argument inside the night club," Sheriff Mascara said. Both victims live in northern St. Lucie County.
"Calvin Colbert was pronounced dead on arrival at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute, and Christopher Walker was taken by friends to the hospital where he is being treated," Sheriff Mascara said. "I am asking anyone with information to call 9-1-1 in St. Lucie County or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-8477" (1-800-273-TIPS.)
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers and give information without leaving his or her name. If the tip leads to an arrest, the tipster can be eligible for a cash reward.
People can also give their tips to Crime Stoppers by going to the Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers website at tcwatch.org.
