Shooting north of Fort Pierce in St. Lucie County sends 19-year-old male victim to trauma center, according to Sheriff Mascara
The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office is investigating an 8:30 p.m. shooting at 35th Street and Avenue Q north of Fort Pierce, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
A19-year-old man was shot several times. He was taken to the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute trauma center, Sheriff Mascara said.
Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 in St. Lucie County, or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS (1-800-273-8477.) If a call to Crime Stoppers results in arrest, the caller, who does not have to give his or her name, can be eligible for a cash reward. * * *
