St. Lucie County Sheriff honored for service as President of Treasure Coast Chiefs of Police and Sheriffs Association
 

St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara has been honored for serving as President in 2006 of the Treasure Coast Chiefs of Police and Sheriffs Association.

 

At the group's January meeting, 2007 President Don Dappen, Chief of Police of Vero Beach, presented Sheriff Mascara with an appreciation plaque for his service during 2006.

 

The Treasure Coast Chiefs of Police and Sheriffs Association includes top leadership of Sheriff's Offices and Police Departments of Indian River, Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Martin Counties.

 

The group meets once a month and has about 50 members. At meetings, group members discuss the most important issues facing the criminal justice system.
