St. Lucie County Mascara announces arrest of drug dealer, seizure of 8 pounds of marijuana after month-long investigation
A month-long investigation by St. Lucie County Sheriff's drug agents has resulted in the arrest of a drug dealer and the seizure of 8 pounds of marijuana and more than $10,000 cash, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
"We are committed to investigating illegal trafficking in street drugs such as marijuana and cocaine as well as prescription drugs," said Sheriff Mascara.
Arrested was Theotis Holloman, 35 (DOB 4/17/75) at his Kentucky Avenue, Fort Pierce, home.
Detectives serving a search warrant interviewed Holloman who admitted all the drugs on his property belonged to him. Holloman had stashed the money in a safe and underneath the mattress of his bed.
In all, investigators seized 8 pounds of marijuana and $10,784 in cash.
"We charged Holloman with marijuana possession with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a church, possession of marijuana over 20 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia," Sheriff Mascara said.
