St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken Mascara announces Sheriff’s Deputies beginning investigation into the Robbery of Chase Bank located in Port St. Lucie
St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Deputies are actively investigating the robbery of the Chase Bank in the River Park subdivision of St. Lucie County. The bank is located at 130 S.E. Entrada Ave facing South Federal Highway in the unincorporated area of St. Lucie County.
The suspect entered the bank at shortly before 12:30 p.m. this afternoon. The suspect passed a note to a bank teller. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and the dye pack which was with the stolen cash.
The dye pack was activated as the suspect exited the bank.
The suspect is described as a white male, believed to be between 25 and 30 years of age with curly hair. The suspect has a thin build and was wearing a white collared shirt with green stripes and an orange jacket with grey or tan pants. He was also wearing a Detroit Tigers Baseball Cap.
Deputies arrived on scene within minutes of the call being received by 911.
The suspect fled south from the bank on foot and deputies are presently conducting a search of the area.
Sheriff Mascara said “The dye pack was activated when the suspect fled the scene so this individual should still have a lot of the marking dye on him and will be easily identifiable”.
If anyone sees the suspect or has any information they should contact the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office at 1-772-462-7300 or Treasure Coast Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-273-8477.
