St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara announces arrest of St. Lucie County school bus aide for child neglect
St. Lucie County School Resource Deputies this afternoon arrested a St. Lucie County school bus aide for the third-degree felony of child neglect, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
The incident that led to today's arrest took place Feb. 8 on a school bus headed for a school in Port St. Lucie. The incident involved the events on the school bus on which School Bus Aide Patricia Davis, 44 (DOB 12/22/65) was riding along with several students, one of whom was an 11-year-old execeptional education student.
In the investigation, school deputies subpoenaed a number of records of the St. Lucie County School District. That and other procedural steps took until this morning, when Circuit Court Judge Dan L. Vaughn issued the arrest warrant for Patricia Davis.
