Tennessee Attempted Murder Suspect Captured in St. Lucie County
Sheriff of St. Lucie County Ken Mascara today announced the arrest of David Cole of Rogersville, TN who is wanted by Tennessee Law Enforcement Officials for Attempted Murder.
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Hawkins County Tennessee Sheriff’s Department seeking our assistance in apprehending Cole.
Cole is wanted in connection of an Attempted Murder which occurred on December 20, 2009 in Hawkins County Tennessee. Cole used a ball bat to strike his victim in the head and left the victim lying in the street.
St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Warrant detectives located Cole at the Sunset Inn, 1802 South US #1, Fort Pierce, Fla., in room 25 and took him into custody without incident.
Sheriff Mascara said, “Based upon the violence used by Cole, we are very fortunate to take this subject off the streets to prevent any further violence by this individual.”
Cole is being held at the St. Lucie County Jail without bail and awaiting transport back to Hawkins County Tennessee.
