St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara announces DUI arrest of off-duty St. Lucie County Court Security Deputy Consuela Curtis
A St. Lucie County Deputy Sheriff Sunday afternoon arrested off-duty St. Lucie County Deputy Consuela Curtis Sunday afternoon for drunk driving, according to Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
Deputy Curtis has been placed on paid administrative leave pending further investigation, the Sheriff said.
Curtis, 49, has been a St. Lucie County Deputy Sheriff since January 2003. She currently is assigned to the Court Security Unit. She was off duty, out of uniform and driving her personal SUV when she was arrested on Okeechobee Road near I-95.
She was booked into the St. Lucie County jail Sunday night and released early this (Monday) morning after posting $350 bond.
