St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara announces drunk driving auto crash dramatization Thrursday at 1:45 p.m. at John Carroll High School, Fort Pierce
The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, with the participation of the students and faculty of John Carroll High School, St. Lucie County Fire District and Kauff’s Towing, will present a drunk driving auto crash dramatization at the high school at 1:45 p.m. Thursday.
Members of the media will be welcome.
“We have staged drunk driving crash dramatizations for the past few years,” Sheriff Mascara said. “Our School Resource Deputies, school officials, students and the Students Against Destructive Decisions, the county Fire District and many others have worked together to show the lasting, disastrous effects of drunk driving,” Sheriff Mascara said.
With the school’s prom taking place this weekend, this is the ideal time for such a dramatization, Sheriff Mascara said.
