Today, St. Lucie County Sheriff’s detectives arrested, Troy Giovengo, a Fort Pierce Police Officer, on two felony charges: armed trespass and unauthorized use of a computer network, according to Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
Giovengo was booked into the jail on the two third-degree felonies today at 12:13 p.m. He posted $7,500 bond and was released from the St. Lucie County jail at 2:54 p.m.

Following those events, another woman, interviewed by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, described an encounter in her home with Giovengo on Dec. 12, 2008. The Sheriff’s Office’s investigation led to the new charges that were the basis for Giovengo’s arrest today.
