St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office named one of St. Lucie County’s “Best Places To Work,” Sheriff Mascara announces
Once again, the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office has been named one of St. Lucie County’s “Best Places to Work” for employers with more than 250 employees.
The St. Lucie County Human Resources Association and the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce recognized the Sheriff’s Office today at an awards luncheon at the Saints Clubhouse in Port St. Lucie.
“As Sheriff of St. Lucie County, I am honored to receive this award on behalf of the dedicated public servants of the Sheriff’s Office, who work every day to make St. Lucie County safe,” Sheriff Mascara said.
The is the second time in recent years that the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office has been named one of the Best Places to Work. The Sheriff’s Office won the award for the first time in 2006.
According to the award’s sponsors, “The Best Places to Work program is a national program that was developed to educate local employers of the various local workplace best practices and programs. It provides an opportunity for employers to compare their companies to other similar sized employers in the area and is a valuable tool for Human Resource planning.”
A total of 12 public and private employers were honored at today’s luncheon.
