Danielle Massoni is a 23-year-old woman who was a victim of a hit-and-run car crash June 9. The driver of a semi-truck ran her off the road and never stopped. After spending eight weeks at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, she came home. She has suffered a traumatic brain injury.
She is the daughter of 10-year veteran St. Lucie County Deputy Fred Massoni.
Danielle Massoni has no insurance and will need extensive rehabilitation to recover from her injuries.
The Sept. 14 benefit motorcycle ride begins with riders assembling at 10 a.m. at Workin Man Cycles, which is sponsoring the event. A $15 donation per rider includes lunch. All riders are welcome.
The event will include a live band, contests, a 50/50 drawing, vendors and other activities.
Also, a benevolent account for Danielle Massoni has been opened at Washington Mutual Bank. Donations are welcome.
