St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara announces arrest of Port St. Lucie woman for manslaughter with a deadly weapon in overnight road rage incident
A 28-year-old Port St. Lucie woman is being held without bond at the St. Lucie County jail following an overnight road rage incident. according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
"Sheriff's detectives arrested Anusha Bissoon (DOB 2/22/80) at 1:30 this morning, which was half an hour after incident, which began as a fight over tailgating," Sheriff Mascara said.
The defendant is the girlfriend of the driver of one of the two vehicles involved in the incident.
"It's important for the driving public to keep in mind the danger posed by erratic and unsafe motorists. If you see someone driving dangerously, keep your personal safety in mind and drive defensively. Then get as many details about the make, model and license number of the vehicle as you can. Call 9-1-1. and give the information to law enforcement. We'll do the rest," the Sheriff said.
