St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara releases identity of suicide victim whose body was found Tuesday afternoon floating in the ocean
Ormond Beach (Fla.) resident Sirag A. Zalotrawala, 42, is the man whose body was found Tuesday afternoon floating in the ocean, according to St. Lucie County Sheriff Ken J. Mascara.
Zalotrawala was reported missing Tuesday morning by family members.
An autopsy this morning identified the preliminary cause of death as a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Deputies late Tuesday recovered Zalotrawala’s white Chevrolet van on South A1A at Blind Creek Beach, north of the nuclear power plant on South Hutchinson Island. His wallet was inside the car, Sheriff Mascara said.
