St. Lucie County Sheriff Mascara asks for publicís help to identify man whose skeletal remains were found this week in northwestern St. Lucie County
A ranch hand discovered skeletal remains of a man at a canal bank in northwestern St. Lucie County earlier this week. Now, Sheriff Ken J. Mascara is asking for the public’s help in finding the identity of the man.
“The body was found Tuesday afternoon in the 16000 block of Indrio Road in a sparsely populated agricultural area,” Sheriff Mascara said. “We estimate the body has been there from six to 12 months.”
Sheriff Mascara said the man was wearing dark-colored work shorts, a brown leather belt, a light brown cotton tee shirt and boxer shorts.
“If anyone can help us determine the man’s identity,” please call 9-1-1 in St. Lucie County or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-TIPS (8477),” Sheriff Mascara said. Callers to Crime Stoppers don’t have to give their names to be eligible for a reward if the tip leads to an arrest.
