Helicopter Aircraft Mechanic
St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office has an opening for the full-time position of Helicopter Aircraft Mechanic.
The Aircraft Mechanic inspects, maintains, repairs, and overhauls rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, aircraft engines, and related components and systems in accordance with F. A. A. regulations and manufacturer’s published procedures. The incumbent is personally responsible for the safety and airworthiness of all Sheriff’s office aircrafts. The position is one of high responsibility for life and property. Previous experience on Bell helicopters is preferred.
School Crossing Guard
The St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office has an opening for the part-time position of School Crossing Guard. This position provides public safety work by guiding school children across roadways, intersections, and cross walks. Work involves directing and stopping traffic to allow students to cross roadways safely. Candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time and in all weather conditions. Part-time position with no health or dental insurance benefits.
