| I want to take this opportunity to ask for your help on behalf of Florida’s neglected, unsupervised and troubled boys and girls. These are the children we serve through the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches, a non profit, charitable network of facilities throughout the State of Florida. The Youth Ranches network is the only charity endorsed and supported by the Sheriffs of Florida through tax deductible donations from members of the community like you. In 1987 the Sheriff's Office began sponsoring an annual golf tournament to benefit the Youth Ranches. To date we have raised over $650,000. I would like to invite you to be part of the 24th Annual Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches Golf Tournament which is set to be held at Santa Lucia River Club at Ballantrae, May 8, 2010. The unselfish generosity of our community to support our tournament in previous years has given hope to hundreds of needy boys and girls in Florida.
