"Behind the Badge" & "10-8"
 

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office is proud to be involved in the production of two local television talk shows, “10-8” and “Behind the Badge.” Both provide an opportunity to educate citizens on a variety of public safety issues.

The St. Lucie County Board of County Commission produces “10-8,” hosted by a Sheriff’s Office member. “Behind the Badge” is a television production of the St. Lucie County School District and is also hosted by a Sheriff’s Office member. In addition to guests from the Sheriff’s Office, the shows feature members of the Fort Pierce Police Department, the Port St. Lucie Police Department, the Fire District, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and other agencies.

SLCTV airs “10-8” on Sundays at 5:30 p.m., Tuesdays at 8:00 a.m., Thursdays at noon and 10:30 p.m., and Fridays at 10:00 p.m. – unless pre-empted by a Board of County Commission meeting or workshop. In the City of Port St. Lucie, SLCTV can be viewed on Adelphia Cable channel 20. In Fort Pierce and unincorporated St. Lucie County it can be seen on Comcast Cable channel 21.

“Behind the Badge” airs on Sundays at 7:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. Adelphia Cable subscribers can view the show on channel 19. On Comcast Cable it can be seen on channel 13.
